Maureen Alsop, PhD., is an award-winning author of several poetry collections, including, Later, Knives & Trees (Negative Capability Press, 2014). She is an associate editor of Poemeleon poetry journal and teaches at Inlandia Institute and The Rooster Moans Poetry Cooperative. Her poems have appeared in numerous journals including Kenyon Review, Tampa Review, New Delta Review, and Barrow Street. Her awards include Tony Quagliano International Poetry Prize, Harpur Palate's Milton Kessler Memorial Prize for Poetry and the Bitter Oleander's Frances Locke Memorial Poetry Award.
